Erica Synths Drum Stereo DJ VCF brings the typical DJ mixer and deck experience to the Eurorack world, offering direct and intuitive control of stereo filtering. The filter behavior is designed for performance use: with the cutoff knob in the middle position (12 o'clock), the signal is fully open.
Turning the knob counterclockwise applies Lowpass filtering, while turning it clockwise activates Highpass filtering. This allows smooth transitions, energetic drops and immediate timbral manipulations, ideal for live electronic sets and modular performances.
The Drum Stereo DJ VCF is a fully analog filter with 24dB per octave slope, capable of sculpting sound in a sharp and professional manner. The adjustable resonance adds character and presence, while always maintaining a pleasing and controllable timbre even in the most driven settings.
The module has two CV inputs for cutoff, one of which has attenuverter. This allows precise modulations and unconventional sound experimentation that is difficult to achieve with classic state-variable filters.
With its stereo handling and DJ-style approach, this module is perfect for processing drum buses, stereo loops, synthesizers, and external signals, offering instant hands-on control during performance.
