Neumann KH 150 AES67 is a bi-amplified nearfield monitor designed for mix, production, and post where linearity, dynamics, and reliable translation are needed. The AES67 version adds native integration into AoIP networks, making it ideal for modern studios, broadcast and installations where routing and scalability are central.
Compared to the "basic" KH 150, the KH 150 AES67 integrates AES67 audio network ports and is designed to operate in broadcast and production environments over IP. It supports transport and redundancy standards (such as ST 2110 and ST 2022-7) and interoperability with RAVENNA ecosystems, as well as being compatible with AES67 streams generated by Dante®.
The 6.5" woofer in a bass reflex cabinet provides bass extension down to 39 Hz (±3 dB) while maintaining transparency and control. With DSP and advanced crossovers, the KH 150 AES67 delivers clean mids and very precise rendering of transients, pulses and reverberated tails, useful for editing, fine balancing and faster compression/reverb choices.
The Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide expands the listening area and helps reduce reflections on the working plane. The built-in DSP also enables monitor alignment to the room via Automatic Monitor Alignment (optional Neumann MA 1 microphone) to optimize the response at the listening point. There is also a switch for manual room corrections.
The amplification combines high performance and energy efficiency (Class D), with low-power standby and auto-standby functions (can be turned off). Timbral coherence with the KH series allows multiple speakers to be combined in surround or immersive configurations, maintaining a uniform sound front.
