During our trip to the NAMM Show 2026 in Anaheim, we could not fail to stop by the booth of Quagliardi Pro Audio, one of the most interesting brands on the professional audio scene. With great enthusiasm, we recorded an exclusive interview to get a closer look at their new releases, all geared toward the integration of analog character and digital flexibility.

Powergrid Trio - The heart of a custom channel

The first product unveiled is the Powergrid Trio, a new 3-slot horizontal chassis for 500 Series modules. Equipped with an external power supply, Ground Lift and Feed function, it allows you to create custom channel strips by cascading modules cleanly and easily. An ideal solution for those who want to configure their signal path with selected pre, EQ and compressor modules.

BoomBlender - The plugin inspired by the FET 576 compressor.

In the digital world, Quagliardi has launched BoomBlender, a plugin inspired by the famous "BOOM" mode of the Quagliardi 576 analog compressor. The "one knob" interface hides a powerful structure: compression, harmonic distortion, and even a Mid/Side module, for complete control over the spatiality of the track.

ParaShelving EQ - The equalizer that complements the channel

Also finally arriving is the 523 ParaShelving EQ, which combines the versatility of parametric EQ with the speed of shelving. Two fully controllable bands can switch from parametric to shelving, and include the BLUE function, a harmonic coloring that adds punch and presence to the signal.

Colorbox DI and Colorbox Reamp - Character and transparency

Big room for DI boxes as well, with the new Colorbox DI, available in both passive and active versions, based on Quagliardi transformers and 2520 amplifiers. The active version provides high headroom and absolute transparency, but can also introduce the CREAM function for a more musical and rounded sound.

Also coming soon is the Colorbox Reamp, currently distributed only in Argentina but destined for the global market soon. Equipped with low-cut, attenuator, phase inverter and I/O duplication, it is perfect for creative and multi-channel reamps.
