The 0-Coast is a semi-modular monophonic synthesizer.

Its name comes from the fact that it uses the features of both Moog and Buchla ( East Cost and West Coast), but resembles neither for this " no coast synthesis."

Although the 0-Coast uses classic modular synthesis techniques, it is designed to work with or without the use of patch cords. The necessary connections have already been made internally between the circuits, allowing it to operate as an expressive and musical MonoSynth right out of the box.

Using only your preferred MIDI controller, you could apply new timbres to your musical compositions! Using the included patch cables, on the other hand, you could go further in your experimentation, discovering new ways to connect circuits. You could even dispense with MIDI completely, immersing yourself in a cloud of new harmonics generated by analog FM, floating around a single fundamental drone that is unlike any form of music you have ever known.
