AtoV DHO (Silver), short for Dual Harmonic Oscillator, represents a new take on the classic complex oscillator. It combines two analog oscillators with a sophisticated digital control system, offering a wide range of timbres, harmonic modulations, and advanced sound design capabilities.

The module is also the first in the Eurorack format to incorporate a haptic feedback system, which makes interacting with the controls even more intuitive thanks to a physical response when adjusting parameters.

Two Analog Oscillators with Through-Zero FM

The two oscillators generate four octaves of triangular waves and can modulate each other via through-zero frequency modulation. This technique allows for extremely rich sounds while maintaining high pitch stability even with deep modulations.

From the soft timbre of triangle waves to metallic textures, complex basses, and aggressive leads, the DHO covers an enormous variety of sonic applications.

Four-stage analog wavefolder

After the two oscillators generate and modulate the signal, it passes through a four-stage diode wavefolder. This circuit progressively increases the harmonic content, transforming simple waveforms into rich, dynamic, and highly expressive timbres.

The combination of through-zero FM and wavefolding makes the DHO an ideal instrument for both classic synthesis and more advanced timbral experimentation.

Intelligent Control of 10 Parameters

One of the most innovative aspects of the DHO is its modulation system, developed using an algorithm derived from the video game industry. This allows for the dynamic control of up to 10 parameters simultaneously.

With a simple turn of a single control, you can explore a virtually infinite number of sound configurations, while a single CV input can animate the entire module’s architecture with coherent and musical variations.

10 Internal LFOs Always Available

The AtoV DHO features ten internal LFOs that add continuous movement to various parameters without requiring additional external modulation modules.

This allows you to create organic sonic evolutions, ever-changing textures, and extremely complex patches even in compact Eurorack systems.

Expander Included

The module comes with its own dedicated expander, which further expands its integration possibilities within the modular system. The standard waveforms of the two oscillators, PWM modulation, and Hard Sync and Soft Sync inputs are available.

Thanks to these additional connections, the AtoV DHO (Silver) can be easily integrated with other oscillators, modulators, and sequencers, becoming the heart of any Eurorack system geared toward advanced synthesis.
