The Soundtoys FilterFreak 5 is a powerful and versatile resonant analog-modelled filter perfect for sculpting sounds, creating filter sweeps and much more. Basing its design on classic analog filter units, the FilterFreak 5 captures the warmth and grit associated with vintage filters. Create retro synth sweeps at the twist of a knob. From resonant squelches to smooth filtering, the FilterFreak 5 can do it all!

Whilst staying true to the original sound and style of vintage filter units, FilterFreak 5 features an expanded control panel for added flexibility. No matter the source, FilterFreak will add a touch of character to any sound or instrument. Fatten up bass guitars, re-sculpt your drum sounds or even add it to vocals for interesting results.

You can even design your LFO shapes using the innovative Shape Editor. You can also create a range of effects such as an envelope follower, auto-wah and even sample-and-hold. Adding further to its unique character, FilterFreak provides you with seven varied analog saturation styles to change the overall style and timbre of your source audio.
