UAD Native Studio Plug-In Bundle - Tracking, Mixing, and Mastering
The Universal Audio UAD Native Studio Bundle brings together 25 plug-ins designed for various stages of audio production, from tracking to mixing to mastering. The collection includes emulations of studio hardware, channel strips, preamps, compressors, equalizers, tape processors, virtual environments, and instrument amplifiers. The bundle offers processors such as the Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor, SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor, Manley Massive Passive EQ, and Studer A800 Tape Recorder, along with environments such as Capitol Chambers and UAD Sound City Studios. A collection designed to offer a wide range of tools within the DAW throughout the entire production process.
The section dedicated to channel strips and preamps includes six processors that allow you to choose different approaches to recording and signal processing. The SSL E Series Channel Strip and API Vision Channel Strip join the LA-6176 Signature Channel Strip, Helios Type 69 Preamp & EQ, Manley Tube Preamp, and Manley VOXBOX Channel Strip, offering a selection of emulations inspired by various circuit designs and studio consoles.
The UAD Native Studio Bundle includes seven compressors and limiters, providing a variety of dynamic characteristics for individual tracks, buses, and mastering.
The Empirical Labs EL8 Distressor offers a versatile dynamic control processor, while the SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor is designed for bus processing and mix cohesion. The Manley Variable Mu Limiter Compressor adds another option for dynamic control. The collection also includes the UA 175-B Compressor, UA 176 Compressor, Capitol Mastering Compressor, and dbx 160VU Compressor/Limiter.
The equalization section includes four plug-ins designed for both mixing and mastering. Hitsville EQ and Hitsville EQ Mastering are complemented by the Manley Massive Passive EQ and its corresponding version, the Manley Massive Passive EQ Mastering. This selection allows you to use different approaches to equalization when processing individual sources, buses, and the final master.
For specialized processing, the UAD Native Studio Bundle includes the Studer A800 Tape Recorder and the Ampex ATR-102 Master Tape. These two plug-ins allow you to integrate the character of tape machines—used during recording and mastering, respectively—into your workflow. The A-Type Multiband Dynamic Enhancer rounds out this section by offering an additional solution for dynamic signal processing.
The UAD Native Studio Bundle includes three environments dedicated to managing space, depth, and reverb: Capitol Chambers, Hitsville Reverb Chambers, and UAD Sound City Studios. These plug-ins bring virtualizations of spaces associated with historic studios and recordings into your production, allowing you to utilize their acoustic characteristics directly within your DAW.
Studio D Chorus rounds out the effects section by offering a modulation processor that can be used to add movement and depth to sources in the mix.
The collection includes four amplifier emulations: the UAD Dream ’65 Reverb Amplifier, the UAD Lion ’68 Super Lead Amp, the UAD Ruby ’63 Top Boost Amplifier, and the UAD Woodrow ’55 Instrument Amplifier. This selection ranges from clean tones to more distinctive and distorted sounds, offering a variety of possibilities for guitars and other instruments.
