Antares AutoTune Advanced is the new flagship for automatic pitch correction, rebuilt from the ground up using a new algorithm. The goal is the most natural and accurate pitch correction Antares has ever achieved, thanks to the new, patent-pending DVA engine that preserves the vibrato and character that bring a voice to life. Whether you need to correct pitch invisibly or push the correction to the limit, the result always sounds human.
Traditional corrections tend to flatten the natural movement of the voice. DVA is a new vibrato detection engine that recognizes and preserves vibrato during correction, rather than forcing it onto the target note.
The built-in visualizer shows what DVA detects the very moment it detects it. You always know how the engine is interpreting the performance, without having to rely on guesswork.
Preserve the singer’s original vibrato throughout the correction, then reduce or emphasize it by ear. With Creative Vibrato FX, you can also generate vibrato where none exists, or explore creative solutions to craft a distinctive vocal sound.
The new Live Mode reduces latency to the point where the singer no longer perceives the delay and remains fully connected to their performance. Latency remains below 1 ms from 44.1 kHz up to 192 kHz, so the session’s sample rate never compromises the feel of the recording. For general studio work, switch to Low Latency mode, while for bouncing the final mix, choose High Quality for maximum audio fidelity.
Manage essential AutoTune features such as Humanize, for less robotic correction, and Flex Tune, to allow for more expressiveness in your performance. A new visual indicator shows exactly how your voice will be modified, eliminating any uncertainty.
Some of the most recognizable voices in recent music were created by experimenting with these very two parameters: the verse lowered in pitch, the sped-up sample, the chorus that’s actually a single singer with four different formant settings. Transpose shifts the pitch, while Formant adjusts the perceived timbre of the voice—both over a range of ±12 semitones. Link them for clean transposition, or use them separately to craft your own sound with the Formant Designer.
Key and scale selection has been redesigned and is now housed in a single panel, with all twelve keys and modes arranged together. Setting the tonal center takes just one step, without having to search through menus in the middle of comping.
Work note by note on a 78-note Visual Keyboard, excluding what should remain untouched or retuning by hand. Correct only what needs correcting, leaving intentional bends, melismatic passages, and vocal fry tails exactly as they were sung. With MIDI Perform, you can also control the correction directly via MIDI Note On and Note Off messages.
AutoTune Advanced is fully compatible with AutoKey 2. It detects the key, scale, and tempo of any track and sends the information directly to all instances of Advanced in the session, without having to retype anything. You can also automate key changes throughout the song.
AutoTune offers quick and essential pitch correction, with the basic controls needed to get a vocal track in tune in no time.
