The Neumann KH 120 II takes the legendary KH 120 studio monitor to a new level: deeper bass, greater sound pressure and improved resolution, all driven by a powerful internal DSP section. Designed for nearfield monitoring in professional or home studio environments, the KH 120 II is the ideal choice for precise mixes that translate perfectly to any listening system.
With a linear frequency response from 44 Hz to 21 kHz (±3 dB) and an equally controlled phase response, the KH 120 II provides accurate temporal reproduction and amazing midrange transparency. The internal DSP enables linear phase crossovers, avoiding the distortions introduced by analog filters.
Each unit is built to tolerances of less than ±0.5 dB, offering razor-sharp stereo imaging and tonal consistency even in surround or immersive configurations.
With the MA 1 automatic alignment algorithm (sold separately), the KH 120 II can be calibrated according to the acoustic characteristics of the room and listening position. Even in treated rooms, DSP optimization significantly improves reproduction accuracy.
The monitor includes analog and S/PDIF digital inputs. It is also available in an AES67 version, compatible with ST 2110, ST 2022-7, RAVENNA and DANTE® streams generated in AES67.
New patented amplifier technology delivers up to 145 W to the woofer and 100 W to the tweeter, with low power consumption: 17 W in active standby and only 0.3 W in auto-save mode (can be turned off).
Designed for listening distances between 1 and 2 meters, the KH 120 II is perfect for home and project studios, editing suites, mobile productions, and immersive setups combined with other speakers in the KH line.
