Based on the VCA THAT 2181A, the dynamics section includes compressor with Fast Attack, Peak Detect, expander/gate with variable hysteresis and HOLD control. Routing allows dynamics to be placed pre or post EQ.

Flexible routing and outboard integration

Super 9000 includes a balanced insert point and an external sidechain input. Routing allows repositioning of EQ, dynamics, and filters, optimizing each audio chain. Stereo link option allows simultaneous control over two units.
