The ALM Busy Circuits PPEXP1 is an expander module designed for Pamela’s PRO Workout, adding dedicated outputs for integrating external equipment into your Eurorack system. With robust dedicated MIDI and DIN Sync clock outputs, the PPEXP1 expands Pamela’s PRO Workout, transforming it into a reliable master clock for synchronizing drum machines, sequencers, and other external units.

Advanced Synchronization: DIN Sync, Run, and Dual Pamela

The PPEXP1’s Din Sync (x24) and Run outputs can be patched directly into a second Pamela’s PRO Workout unit, allowing you to easily synchronize it and build more extensive and complex clocking systems. The additional fixed-clocked gate outputs, meanwhile, free up Pam’s main outputs, which can then be dedicated to unique sequencing tasks or more elaborate modulation.

Direct Connection and Compatibility with Axon-1

The PPEXP1 connects directly to the “MIDI-EX” expander header on the back of Pamela’s PRO Workout, from which it also receives power. Only one output expander is supported at a time, but the PPEXP1 can be used in combination with the Axon-1 CV input expander for an even more comprehensive clocking and modulation system.

Adapter cables for 5-pin DIN connectors

A dedicated MIDI adapter cable and a dedicated DIN Sync adapter cable are available for connecting to 5-pin DIN connectors. The PPEXP1 already includes the DIN MIDI adapter cable, ready for use right from the first connection.
