Erica Synths brings the DNA of the Latvian techno scene to Eurorack: Black Series modules built for both stage and studio.
Erica Synths was founded in Riga, Latvia, drawing on Girts Ozolins' experience in the European electronic music scene. Its aesthetic is instantly recognizable—black panels with white lettering, rugged construction and a design focused on live performance—but it is the sonic philosophy that truly sets Erica apart: modules designed for musicians who want to play, not just program. The Black Series is the flagship lineup, offering modules that cover every stage of the Eurorack signal chain with character and musicality.
Among the most popular modules in the range, the Black Hole DSP2 is the reference DSP reverb and delay module, featuring algorithms ranging from classic plate reverbs to deep ambient textures. The Black Sequencer is the most advanced Eurorack sequencer in the lineup, offering four polyphonic tracks, Euclidean sequencing, probability functions and advanced pattern creation.
For percussion synthesis, the Perkons Voice and the drum machine series modules bring the acclaimed Perkons Voice sound engine into the Eurorack world. The Black Spring Reverb and the Black Stereo Delay2 complete the FX section of the range. The Black Polivoks VCF v2 recreates the legendary filter from the Soviet Polivoks synthesizer—an aggressive and unmistakable sound unlike any other. The Black Quad VCA2 provides four channels of linear and exponential amplification.
Erica Synths also manufactures standalone synthesizers. The Bullfrog is a semi-modular analog synthesizer with patch points, designed for education and discovering modular synthesis without the expense of a Eurorack case. The Bassline DB-01 is the flagship analog bassline synthesizer in the range, inspired by the sound of the most influential bass machine in electronic music history, featuring an integrated sequencer and CV/Gate outputs for modular systems. For housing your modular system, the Skiff 1x104HP and the Skiff 1x84HP provide compact solutions. Milk Audio Store is an authorized Erica Synths dealer.
