Erica Synths EDU DIY Output is a stereo output module in Eurorack format designed to complement the mki x es.EDU system. It is a mixer with panning function that accepts two mono inputs with adjustable gain and distributes them in the stereo panorama, providing a balanced Left/Right output ready for recording or monitoring.
With the panning control, you can place each signal in the stereo space, creating more dynamic and professional mixes directly from your modular system. The module also integrates a dedicated headphone amplifier, making it perfect as the final stage of your Eurorack setup, whether in the studio or live.
Within the mki x es.EDU educational project, this module represents the output section of the complete monosynth, along with the other modules in the series (VCO, VCF, Mixer, Envelope, VCA, etc.). It is not just a utility, but an essential element in understanding signal routing and mix management in an analog system.
Developed by Erica Synths in collaboration with Moritz Klein, the mki x es.EDU series is designed to teach analog synthesizer circuit design even to those starting from scratch. Each kit guides the user step by step, explaining circuit choices and the fundamentals of sound synthesis.
The kits include detailed manuals that can be downloaded separately. Due to the DIY nature of the product, no technical support is provided for any assembly-related problems.
