ALM Busy Circuits Stem Ripper is a compact 8-channel audio recorder designed for instantly capturing an entire Eurorack patch without the need for external hardware. With Stem Ripper, you can easily capture all the audio stems of a patch directly from your modular system.

Multichannel recording to an SD card: one stem per input

The patch’s stems are recorded directly to a micro SD card, which can be easily transferred to a computer for mixing, editing, or archiving patches. Each input is recorded as an individual track within an automatically dated multichannel WAV file, while recording time is limited only by the capacity of the SD card used.

Integrated stereo mixdown in the WAV file

In addition to the individual tracks for each input, the output WAV file includes two additional tracks with a configurable stereo mixdown of all inputs, ready for quick listening or later editing without having to rebuild the mix from scratch. A 64GB SD card suitable for this purpose is included with the unit.

Expandability with Thru and With Mixer

Stem Ripper can be expanded with the optional 2HP “Thru” expander, available separately, or with the optional “With Mixer” expander, which transforms the module into an 8-channel stereo mixer, adding even more flexibility to your Eurorack recording and mixing workflow.
