The Neve 1073 SPX-D combines the legendary quality of the 1073® preamplifier with a powerful digital audio interface, offering USB and ADAT connections for total integration in studio, live, or mobile setups. This all-in-one solution allows you to record, mix, and monitor with the same sonic excellence that has made the 1073 famous around the world.

Connections and routing flexibility

With 9 inputs (1 analog and 8 ADAT) and 12 outputs (4 analog and 8 ADAT), the 1073 SPX-D can become the heart of any studio, with all equipment connected directly to the DAW. The USB/ADAT hub mode allows additional units such as the 1073OPX to be connected, while the ADAT Expander mode allows the 1073 channel to be integrated into existing audio systems.

Uncompromising sound quality

The 1073 SPX-D retains the discrete Class A topology and original Marinair transformers, ensuring the unmistakable sound of the 1073. The three-band inductor EQ, with carefully selected frequencies, allows musical and natural interventions on every signal. The three gain stages, driven by two independent transistor preamplifiers, offer versatility for microphones, instruments and line signals.

Integrated monitoring control

The 1073 SPX-D's monitoring system allows direct connection of speakers and headphones, with attenuation, speaker cut and blend functions for zero-latency listening. Two stereo sources can be monitored from the DAW and blended with recorded signals.
