Eventide Instant Phaser Mk II is the modern software emulation of the first studio phaser ever made. Introduced in 1972, the original Instant Phaser revolutionized analog processing by allowing you to simulate the famous tape flanging found in some of the most iconic productions in music history.

This plug-in allows you to achieve deep phasing, dynamic flanging, and extremely musical stereo spatialization directly in your DAW.

Vintage analog phasing and advanced stereo spatialization

Shallow, Deep and Wide modes modify the behavior of the phase shift sections, offering different levels of stereo depth and width. In Wide mode, the plug-in applies different phasing to the left and right channels, transforming mono sources such as guitars and synthesizers into wide, immersive stereo textures.

Age control for vintage analog character

One of the most original features of Instant Phaser Mk II is the Age control, designed to simulate the natural aging of analog electronic components. This parameter introduces slight instabilities and circuit variations that make the sound more organic, warm and unpredictable, just as it was on vintage hardware units after years of use.
