This module of the 200h series is used for format conversion in order to let the Buchla system come into contact with other analog synthesizer formats. On the one hand, physical problems such as different connector types are addressed. On the other hand, there are also adjustments and offsets of levels, as well as adjustment of gate signals. The conversion of 1.2V/octave and 1V/octave is also taken into account here. The conversions will work in both directions.

The left third of the module offers adapters in the form of three multiples. The lower two multiples are purely passive and are intended for audio signals. Here the conversion is between Tini-Jax, 3.5mm jack and 6.3mm jack. The upper multiple converts between banana, 3.5mm jack and 6.3mm jack. This multiple is intended for control voltages. It contains an active circuit that suppresses negative control voltages, as these are not used within the Buchla system because they can lead to damage.

The middle section offers three CV processors. Two of them are set to convert between the 1.2V/octave and the 1V/octave standard. The upper CV processor provides a combination of attenuator and negative offset to convert and/or scale unipolar 0-10V signals to bipolar signals if necessary.

The right third finally offers two pairs of pulse-gate converters that convert Buchla transient and pulse signals into gate signals and vice versa.
