• Expansion port, compact layout designed for live performance

The ALM Busy Circuits MEGA-TANG is a 4-channel linear VCA and stereo mixer that gives you control over level, effects send, pan, and mute for each input. Designed with live performance in mind, featuring a simple and compact layout, it builds on the clean and transparent sound of the Tangle Quartet VCA and transforms it into a true control center for your rig: stereo mix output, effects send, manual panning, soft mutes with LED indicators, and an expansion port for future upgrades.

2164 Linear VCAs: Clean Dynamics with No Bleed

At the heart of the MEGA-TANG are four high-quality linear VCAs based on the 2164 ICs, chosen for their high performance, low noise, and minimal distortion. The result is clean, bleed-free level control: when a channel is muted, it’s truly muted. Ideal for precisely handling vocals, percussion, and envelopes without coloring the sound.

DC-coupled inputs for audio and CV

All signals are Eurorack-level and, with the exception of the effects return, DC-coupled. You can therefore use the MEGA-TANG not only to mix audio but also to blend, scale, and voltage-control modulation signals, expanding its role in your patch.

Eurorack stereo mixer for live performance: pan, mute, and individual outputs

Each channel has its own manual pan control and feeds into the stereo mix output. The mute buttons feature LEDs and a soft-close circuit that helps prevent clicks, so you can mute and unmute parts during a performance without unwanted artifacts.

Per-Channel Outputs for Cue and Monitoring

Each channel also features an individual VCA output. When connected, the channel is bypassed from the main mix—a practical solution for cueing, monitoring, or sending a single voice to a dedicated processing chain.

Mono effects send and stereo return, ideal with the MFX

The mono effects send with stereo return lets you control, for each channel, how much signal to send to an external processor and how the effect is blended back into the mix’s stereo image. It pairs naturally with ALM’s MFX to add reverb, delay, and modulation without occupying mixer channels.

Expansion port to grow your system

The MEGA-TANG features an expansion port designed for future module upgrades, so your mixer can grow along with your system.
