Maag Audio EQ4-500: versatile and musical equalizer

The Maag Audio EQ4-500 is a compact 6-band equalizer for 500 Series format, derived directly from the renowned EQ4M. It offers four fixed bell bands, a 2.5 kHz shelving band, and the famous Air Band® to add presence and brilliance without generating harshness or hiss.

Precise and transparent tonal control

The main frequencies are 10 Hz (Sub), 40 Hz, 160 Hz, 650 Hz and 2.5 kHz (shelf), with ±15 dB adjustment and detented neutral point. The Air Band allows a musical boost of up to +20 dB on 6 selectable frequencies: 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz.

Optimized for the professional studio

Equipped with LEDs for signal present (-20 dBu) and peak (+23 dBu), the EQ4-500 provides instant visual control. In/Out switch allows direct comparison of processed and original signal, ideal for precise workflow in tracking or mix.
