The Sanken CU-41 (Used) is a professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone in used condition, designed to deliver extremely faithful and natural sound reproduction. Born from a collaboration between Sanken and the Japanese public broadcaster NHK, it remains one of the most innovative achievements in the world of studio microphones thanks to its exclusive dual-capsule technology.

Dual-Capsule Technology for an Extremely Linear Response

At the heart of the Sanken CU-41 is an exclusive Two-Way Capsule system, an extremely rare solution in the world of condenser microphones. Two independent capsules operate simultaneously:

a small-diameter capsule dedicated to high frequencies;
a large-diaphragm capsule responsible for low and mid-low frequencies.

The two signals are internally combined into a single mono output with a 1 kHz crossover, resulting in an extremely flat and consistent frequency response across the entire sound spectrum.

Titanium capsules for maximum stability

Both capsules use 1-micron titanium diaphragms, a design that makes the microphone particularly resistant to changes in temperature, humidity, and material aging.
