The ALM Busy Circuits 52 HP 9U is a three-row Eurorack case with an integrated power supply, packing the space needed for a rich and complex modular system into a width of just 52 HP. Its vertical design makes it ideal for desks and tables where width is limited, without sacrificing multiple voices, modulations, and effects. Originally designed for the System Coupe, the ALM case has evolved into a range of formats available individually, all featuring an anodized aluminum frame, a power switch, rubber feet, and a high-quality power supply.

The all-anodized aluminum frame is durable yet lightweight, with a total weight of approximately 2.1 kg. Its proportions are designed to fit comfortably on a table or desk—with a compact yet sufficient depth—and to be easily transported. The external dimensions are 277 x 396 x 66 mm.

Fixed mounting rails with M3 threads

Instead of sliding nuts, which are often frustrating to position, the case uses fixed mounting rails with M3 threads. Screwing in the modules is quick and precise, with no screws spinning freely or nuts shifting out of place. The usable depth accommodates modules up to 42 mm thick, equivalent to approximately two stacked PCBs: all ALM modules fit without issue.

Integrated 2 A Eurorack power supply per line

The fixed bus boards provide ample power and keyed connectors to connect up to 18 modules without the risk of polarity reversal. The case delivers up to 2 A on both the +12 V and -12 V lines, with a specified ripple of 100 mV at full load. There is no +5 V line.

Shielded DC/DC converter with protections

The shielded DC/DC converter ensures a low-noise power supply and includes overload and short-circuit protection. The case is powered by an included external 12 V power supply, featuring a 2.1 mm center-positive barrel connector, and includes a power switch.
