The Cranborne Audio Brick Lane 500 redefines analog compression with its Modal PWM Compression architecture. A true sound modeling tool, capable of offering six compression modes with fully reconfigurable dynamic controls and selectable harmonic response via the Stress control.

Pure PWM compression and total flexibility

Using fully analog PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) processing, the Brick Lane 500 minimizes unwanted distortion by offering infinite control over attack, release and envelope. Compression occurs without digital conversion, ensuring maximum signal integrity.

Analog Lookahead Technology

Using a predictive system based on quarter-wave voltage sensing, POLISH mode allows you to anticipate transients with surgical precision, perfect for limiting during mastering without any latency.

Brick Lane 500 integrates six unique modes: VELVET (vintage vari-mu musicality), FLOAT (transparent opto-like compression), SMASH (aggressive FET compression), TAME (surgical transient control), GLUE (cohesive bus compression), POLISH (ultra-fast mastering limiting).

Through OptoSync technology, two Brick Lane 500 units can synchronize in stereo without cables, thanks to LED optical communication. You can also link multiple modules for multichannel mixes or complex stereo summing setups.
