Eventide Crystals is one of the most iconic plug-ins in the H9 series, designed to create pitch-shifted delays, atmospheric reverbs, and cinematic sound textures inspired by the historic H3000 Harmonizer®. By combining reverse pitch shifting, granular reverse delays, and evolved reverb, Crystals allows you to transform any audio source into deep, spatial, and highly creative soundscapes.

Creative pitch shifting and H3000-style reverse delay

At the heart of Eventide Crystals are two independent pitch shifters with four-octave extension, from two octaves below to two octaves above the original signal. Reverse granular delays can be individually adjusted up to 4 seconds per voice, offering virtually endless creative possibilities for sound design, electronic music, ambient and experimental productions.

Reverb with decays of up to 100 seconds

Crystals is not just a creative pitch shifter: its reverb algorithm allows for huge, deep sound environments with tails of up to 100 seconds. Perfect for creating drones, ambient effects, cinematic soundscapes and ethereal vocal layering.

Musical micro-pitching and advanced harmonizations

Each voice can be micro-pitched around classic musical intervals such as fourth, fifth and octave, allowing for natural harmonizations, stereo widening and extremely musical harmonic textures.

The innovative RIBBON control allows you to simultaneously modulate multiple parameters in real time, transforming Crystals into an expressive performance instrument. You can gradually switch between different settings, increase the feedback to infinity, or manipulate the pitch as if it were a musical instrument.
