PuigTec EQs faithfully recreate the legendary sound of the Pultec EQP-1A and MEQ-5 passive equalizers, which have been used for decades to shape rich lows, musical mids, and smooth highs in mixes and mastering. Modeled after producer Jack Joseph Puig's personal units, these plug-ins offer all the warmth and transparency of the original hardware.

EQP-1A: Full-bodied bass, silky highs.

With dedicated controls for boost and cut of the same frequencies, the EQP-1A enables powerful yet controlled bass using the famous "Pultec Trick." It is perfect for working on drums, bass, synths and tracks that require depth without clutter.

MEQ-5: Rich and defined midrange tone

The MEQ-5 adds detail and character to vocals, acoustic guitars and keyboards with its three midrange bands: low-mid boost, dip mid and high-mid boost. Ideal for shaping warm, balanced tones.
