THE BUS+ keeps the iconic sonic character of the SSL bus compressor intact while adding modern flexibility designed for mixing, mastering and post-production. The sound retains the classic "glue effect" typical of SSL consoles, capable of compacting the mix while maintaining punch, definition and transparency.

Three sound coloring modes

4K Mode recalls the grit of the SSL 4000E consoles, LOW THD Mode offers a cleaner, more transparent 9000-series-style response, and F/B Mode introduces a softer, more natural compression. This versatility allows the dynamic character to be adapted to any musical genre.
