Eurorack analog synth module for basslines with AS3340 VCO and BBD - Used
Erica Synths Bassline (Used) is a monophonic analog synthesizer voice in Eurorack format designed to create powerful basslines, cutting-edge leads, and vintage-style sequences. This used module offers a complete solution for those seeking the classic analog sound with modern features, combining an oscillator, filter, and envelopes into a single compact unit.
At the heart of the Bassline is an analog oscillator based on the renowned AS3340 VCO, capable of generating three simultaneous waveforms alongside a transistor sub-oscillator to produce deep low frequencies and an extremely rich sonic presence. Stable tracking over eight octaves allows for precise use in both melodic and rhythmic contexts.
Two BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) circuits operate within the oscillator’s range, introducing subtle variations in pitch and movement reminiscent of classic analog polyphonic behavior. The result is a broader, livelier sound rich in harmonics—perfect for both modern and vintage electronic productions.
For tone shaping, there’s a switchable Low Pass/Band Pass filter derived from Erica Synths’ Acidbox and inspired by the famous Polivoks. The filter’s bold character lets you create aggressive basslines, acid leads, and textures with a powerful sonic impact.
The module includes two dedicated decay envelopes for the VCF and VCA, as well as numerous CV inputs for controlling the main parameters. This architecture makes Bassline a complete synthesizer voice that can be easily integrated into any Eurorack system without requiring additional modules for sound generation.
