Waves' MetaFilter is a powerful creative filtering plug-in designed for musicians, sound designers, DJs and producers. With a unique combination of virtual analog filters, complex modulations and advanced control features, MetaFilter brings any sound source to life.

Analog filter with a digital soul

With five filter curves (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, notch, comb) and 12 or 24 dB/octave slope options, MetaFilter faithfully reproduces the behavior of analog filters. Left and right channels can be managed separately to create unique stereo effects.

Total modulation: LFO, sequencer and envelope

Full motion control

Modulate cutoff, resonance or delay with a multimodal LFO, sequencer up to 16 steps, envelope follower or external sidechain. All parameters are assignable via MIDI, perfect for live performances.

Creative delay and synchronized rhythm

The built-in delay synchronizes to DAW tempo and can have analog character. Offsets can be applied to channels to generate dynamic and engaging spatial effects.

Distortion and creative control

With Drive and Bitcrusher controls, MetaFilter can go from slightly saturated to rough and unstructured sounds. The result? A filter that goes beyond digital cleanliness to a world of driven creativity.
