Sound quality and frequency response of the DPA 4041

The DPA 4041 offers an extremely linear frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a slight presence boost of about 4-6 dB around 8 kHz. This feature allows for open and detailed recordings while maintaining natural sound reproduction.

The extremely low noise level of only 8 dB(A) allows even the most delicate and dynamic sources to be captured without introducing perceptible noise into the audio signal.

MMC4041 wide-diaphragm capsule

The microphone uses the MMC4041 capsule, designed to offer high sensitivity and extremely accurate sound reproduction. The capsule can be unscrewed from the MMP4000-SP preamplifier, allowing greater flexibility in usage configurations.
