The RME PRO LINE 12Mic-D is a professional multichannel preamplifier with 12 mic/line inputs, top-notch digital conversion and extensive MADI, Dante and ADAT connectivity options. Designed for recording studios, live, broadcast and high-end audio production, it combines sonic transparency, network flexibility and intuitive control.
Each input offers a gain range of up to 75 dB without pads, as well as accepting up to +18 dBu. A/D converters provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio, extremely low THD performance and a wide frequency response, ideal for capturing every detail. The first four connections also accept TRS with Hi-Z impedance for instruments.
In addition to the two redundant Dante® ports, the 12Mic-D has built-in coaxial MADI ports and an optional SFP module for optical MADI, allowing connection to existing MADI devices. The three ADAT outputs offer additional digital connectivity, while an internal routing matrix allows any input channel to be freely mapped to the more than 200 available output channels.
By integrating the Audinate Dante IP Core on a dedicated RME FPGA, the 12Mic-D offers stable, redundant, high-performance audio network connectivity. You can transmit analog and digital signals simultaneously on the Dante network, receive up to 64 channels from the network and route them to MADI, ADAT, headphones or analog outputs.
All major functions can be controlled directly from the front panel using the color display and control knob. Remote management is possible via HTTP and JSON over the network, perfect for complex configurations or wireless control. The built-in routing matrix simplifies routing of both analog and digital signals.
