This 4MS QCD Expander is a used product that has been thoroughly tested and is in perfect working order. Designed as a dedicated expansion for the 4MS Quad Clock Distributor (QCD), it transforms the clock module into a powerful programmable rhythmic sequencer, adding new possibilities for modulation, CV control, and the generation of complex patterns.

Advanced control of Trigger, Pulse Width, and Shuffle

Each channel of the QCD gains new dedicated functions, including Trigger Delay (Pulse Width) control, a dedicated CV input, and an attenuverter that allows you to precisely modulate pulse width and delay using external sources or other channels in the system.

Three Selectable Output Modes

The additional INV OUT output can operate in three different modes:

• Delayed Trigger
• Inverted Gate
• Shuffle (original trigger + delayed trigger)

These modes allow you to create swing grooves, shuffle patterns, and highly complex rhythmic structures without requiring additional modules.

Evolving Patches and Nonlinear Rhythmic Sequences

Thanks to the attenuverters on all CV inputs and the dedicated Div/Mult modulation control, the QCD Expander allows you to create self-modulating patches, polyrhythms, temporal variations, and generative sequences, transforming the Quad Clock Distributor into a true control center for the entire Eurorack system.

Seamless integration with the Quad Clock Distributor

The module connects directly to the QCD via the 16-pin flat cable included in the package. Installation is simple, and all new functions are immediately integrated into the Quad Clock Distributor’s interface, maintaining an intuitive workflow both in the studio and during live performances.
