The DPA 4061 CORE+ Omni Mic is a professional lavalier microphone designed for applications with high sound pressure levels. Thanks to its miniaturized omnidirectional capsule and CORE+ technology, it offers extremely clean and natural pickup even under demanding operating conditions.

This Loud SPL version is optimized to handle very powerful sound sources such as musical instruments, guitar or bass amplifiers, snare drums and live performances, while maintaining minimal distortion and wide dynamics at all times.

DPA CORE+ technology for greater dynamics and less distortion

CORE+ technology represents the evolution of DPA miniature microphones. This system dramatically reduces distortion along the entire dynamic range of the microphone, providing greater clarity even on the most intense transients.

The result is a more defined, natural and detailed sound with excellent handling of high sound pressures, making the 4061 CORE+ an ideal choice for broadcast productions, cinema, theater and professional music applications.

Compact and easy-to-hide omnidirectional lavalier microphone

With a diameter of only 5.4 mm, the microphone can be easily concealed on clothing, instruments or sets without compromising the quality of the shot. The omnidirectional polar pattern ensures uniform sound capture even when the microphone is not pointed directly at the source.

These features make it extremely versatile for both vocal applications and close miking of instruments at high sound levels.

Professional reliability with MicroLock® and reinforced construction

The MicroLock® connector introduces a mechanical locking system designed to prevent accidental disconnection during use. This solution provides a stable and secure connection even in the most demanding work situations.

The microphone also features a Kevlar-reinforced cable designed to resist continuous twisting, bending and pulling. The Double Vent Protection system protects the capsule from moisture and sweat, increasing reliability in theatrical and live applications.

Interchangeable grids to adapt frequency response

The acoustic response of the microphone can be modified by interchangeable grids. The preinstalled Soft Boost Grid introduces a slight 3 dB boost between 8 and 20 kHz, ideal for natural vocal performance.

The optional High Bo ost Grid, on the other hand, provides a boost of about 10 dB at 12 kHz and is suitable when the microphone is placed on the chest or when more high-frequency presence needs to be regained.
