A light show synchronized with your synth

Soma ILLUMINATOR is an 8-channel converter that transforms analog CV signals (3-20V) from Eurorack systems, drum machines or synths into current pulses for LED strips. The result? A responsive light show perfectly synchronized with the rhythm and nuances of your set.

Reactive lights without programming

No need for presets, DMX interfaces, or light operators: ILLUMINATOR directly exploits the behavior of audio signals. Plug in a fast hi-hat for strobe effects, or a slow LFO for softer environments. Every note and pulse generates a natural, automatic light response.

Total flexibility and ease of use

Compatible with common 12V LED strips (up to 0.5A per channel), readily available and applicable to any surface: modular homes, walls, instruments, costumes, and more. It can also power DC devices such as motors, electromagnets or filament lamps.

Fine control for each channel

Each channel has trimmers to adjust LED sensitivity and brightness. Factory set to 5V for immediate compatibility with most devices. Also supports bipolar CV signals (the negative side will be ignored).
