Three MIDI processing modes for maximum expressiveness

Splitter mode

Allows you to divide the MIDI keyboard into zones: each zone controls a different instrument, allowing multitimbral performances without changing channels.

Combiner mode

Combines monophonic instruments into a complex polyphonic system. Behavior is similar to a polyphonic synthesizer, but each "voice" has its own timbre, opening up new harmonic and rhythmic possibilities.

Translator Mode

Turns received notes into CC messages, allowing you to "play" sound parameters, as if they were notes. Ideal for granular delays, resonant filters and paraphonic oscillators.

SimplexFM: synth firmware inspired by LYRA-8

With the optional SimplexFM firmware, Metaconformer becomes a 4-track digital synthesizer, inspired by the organismic logic of the famous LYRA-8. The sound comes not from complex LFOs and modulations, but from the unpredictable interaction between different timbres.
