Magnolia is an 8-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with bi-timbral architecture and through-zero linear FM synthesis. It enables classic and experimental timbres, bringing techniques derived from modular synthesis into the polysynth world. Each circuit is designed in-house without the use of standard integrated chips, offering a pure and distinctive sound.
The Fatar keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch, pitch and mod wheels, Macro and Morph knobs, and expression pedal inputs make Magnolia an instrument designed to be played. With 16 modulators and 38 destinations-each with LED indication-every parameter can be animated with precision and creativity. The Polymove generator adds random polyphonic motion for vivid and dynamic sound textures.
Forget operators: on Magnolia, FM is simple and straightforward. Two analog oscillators modulate each other via a large orange knob, with no need for complex calculations. The thru-zero circuit allows for authentic, harmonic-rich FM modulations, ideal for complex, aggressive sounds.
