They inherit the 58 mm integrated driver architecture and handcrafted construction: they are hand-assembled in Machida, Tokyo, using components manufactured in-house by Audio-Technica and inspected one by one. In the ATH-ADX3000, the diaphragm, voice coil, baffle, and magnet form a single integrated unit. This design improves airflow around the driver and reduces distortion, resulting in clean, precise, and consistent reproduction across the entire frequency range, with a response extending from 5 to 45,000 Hz.

The ATH-ADX3000 is crafted at Audio-Technica’s Machida factory in Tokyo, where it is hand-assembled using in-house components. Each part undergoes individual inspection, ensuring consistency and long-term reliability.

Lightweight and comfortable for long sessions

Weighing just 257 g, the ATH-ADX3000 remains comfortable even during extended mixing or mastering sessions. The velvet ear pads are replaceable, so you can keep them in optimal condition over time.

50-ohm impedance and optional balanced connection

The 50-ohm impedance, combined with a sensitivity of 98 dB, makes the ATH-ADX3000 easy to drive: you can connect them to the headphone output of your audio interface or monitoring controller, or to a dedicated headphone amplifier.

Detachable A2DC cable and AT-B1XA/3.0 balanced cable

The 3-meter cable connects to the headphones via Audio-Technica’s A2DC connectors and terminates with a gold-plated 6.3 mm stereo jack. Thanks to the detachable connectors, you can also use the ATH-ADX3000 in a balanced configuration with the AT-B1XA/3.0 cable, sold separately. The package includes a hard case for safe storage and transport.
