Eventide Spring is a spring reverb plug-in designed to reproduce the iconic character of the spring reverbs found in classic guitar amps, famous in the Surf, Garage and Rockabilly genres. In addition to classic vintage sounds, Spring greatly expands creative possibilities by directly controlling physical parameters normally impossible to change in a true spring tank.

Eventide vintage reverb for modern productions

The plug-in combines two different spring tank sizes with the ability to gradually switch between one and three springs, offering a wide range of sound environments: from warm, retro reverbs to experimental, motion-rich textures. Eventide's Ribbon controller enables real-time transformation of multiple parameters simultaneously, creating smooth transitions and highly dynamic performances.

Valve tremolo and creative modulations

Spring integrates a tube amp-style tremolo that can be placed before or after the reverb to deeply shape the character of the sound. You can adjust the intensity and speed of the tremolo either in Hz or by synchronizing it to the tempo of the DAW project. In addition, the Modulation Level control allows for chorus-like effects and slight atmospheric modulations.

Advanced spring resonance control

For even more precise customization, Eventide Spring offers independent controls for low and high damping frequencies, as well as metal resonance adjustment on high frequencies. This allows for brighter, metallic or softer reverbs depending on the musical context, enhancing guitars, synthesizers, drums and vocals in the mix.

Reverb plug-in compatible with Mac and Windows

Eventide Spring is compatible with macOS 10.14 or higher, including Apple Silicon systems, and Windows 10 or later. It supports major professional plug-in formats such as VST2, VST3, AU and AAX, easily integrating into any modern audio production workflow.
