The CGM Creative Mixer is a modular mixing solution for eurorack modular systems, designed to obtain a flexible setup, providing all the tools you may need in studio and during a live performance, as well as everything you may want to control via CV. It is currently composed of three modules: the Channel, the Group and the Master. The CGM Group module, gets and sums the L/R post fader signals (WHITE) of all the connected Channel modules, sums all the signals from the YELLOW and GREEN sends, and manages the sends (mono) and returns (DUAL MONO or STEREO), summing it to the signals from the CHANNELS. It also manages the solo in place activation on all the linked Channels, and provides a L/R output for the outgoing signal, or (via a jumper on the back of the module) a L/R output of the sum of the returns signals. Up to 8 Channels may be connected to a single Group, taking care also of its powering. Without any CV applied and all pot at maximum, gain scale, referred to channel input, is: – 7.5 dB on channel direct output – 4 dB on send output (with 5V CV patched to main VCA) – 12.5 dB on group output (jumpers allowing output of sum of channels and return) – 18 dB on master output and 20dB on headphones. Without any CV applied and all pot at maximum, gain scale, referred to group return inputs, is 9 dB on group output (jumpers allowing output of sum of channels and return) Frequency response: All system is guaranteed from 10Hz to 40KHz bandwidth within 1dB, measured at +10dBu at master output onto a 1KO load. Harmonic Distortion (THD+N): on a complete system (Channel to group to master) less than 0.3%, measured at 1KHz with output signal of +10 dBu onto 1KO load with a 10Hz to 80KHz bandwidth measurement system. Audio Return impedance > 20KO mono > 40KO stereo CV input impedance 100 KO ±10% Includes two “4 channels to group link cable” to connect the group to up to 4 channels. There is no power cable included since the group modules is powered by only one of the connected group. Read the manual at http://frap.tools/manuals/mixer for complete instructions on how to connect the group to the channel(s) and the master to the group(s).
