Joranalogue Flow 3 is a compact yet extremely versatile Eurorack analog filter designed to offer much more than a classic VCF. Behind the mere 6 HP panel is a sophisticated reinterpretation of the state-variable filter, capable of generating simultaneous lowpass, bandpass and highpass outputs with a precise, musical and character-rich sonic response.

The real special feature of the Flow 3 is its auto-dynamic nature: the module can modulate itself thanks to a voltage-controlled envelope follower and decay generator integrated circuit. You can activate envelopes via external triggers or use the auto mode to directly follow the dynamics of the incoming audio signal.

This architecture makes Flow 3 ideal for creating extremely expressive dynamic filters, auto-wah effects, transient shaping, and deep, punchy analog percussion, including powerful and defined analog kick drums.

Joranalogue Flow 3 as a quadrature oscillator

The filter resonance response is particularly smooth and can easily achieve self-oscillation. In this mode, Flow 3 transforms into a sine/cosine quadrature oscillator with 90° separated waves, precise 1V/Oct tracking and thermal compensation, making it usable in advanced melodic and FM patches as well.

Linkwitz-Riley crossover filter for dual-band processing.

With resonance at a minimum, the module adopts a Linkwitz-Riley response to separate the audio signal into low and high bands for dual-band crossover and processing applications. A particularly useful feature for advanced sound design, parallel processing and modular mixing patches.

The 2 mm anodized aluminum front panel features non-erasable high-resolution graphics, while the protected circuitry with MOSFET and polarized connector ensures reliability and operational safety over time.
