The Telefunken TF11 B-Stock is a wide-diaphragm FET condenser microphone that combines the classic timbre inspired by the legendary C12 with the modern performance of solid-state technology. This B-Stock unit is fully functional and represents an excellent opportunity to access the Telefunken sound at a more affordable price.

The TF11 delivers a three-dimensional, open and detailed sound image with extremely fast and accurate transient response. With its ability to handle high sound pressure levels and very low noise floor, this microphone is an extremely versatile solution in both studio and live settings.

CK12 capsule and Telefunken FET circuit.

At the heart of the Telefunken TF11 is the TK51S capsule, a wide-diaphragm edge-terminated capsule inspired by the CK12 design, implemented here in a single-diaphragm version. This configuration contributes to the open and natural sound output that characterizes the microphone.

The amplifier uses a custom version of the classic FET microphone circuit, similar to that found in the M60 series models, coupled to a custom OEP/Carnhill T218 nickel-iron core transformer manufactured in the UK.

In the TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik tradition, the TF11 is designed and hand-assembled in the United States using high-quality components. These include Nichicon Fine Gold electrolytic capacitors and a high-performance JFET amplifier designed to ensure extremely low noise level and precise dynamic response.
