Waves Scheps 73 is a meticulous analog modeling of the legendary 1073 preamp/EQ, enhanced by the expertise of Grammy-winning engineer Andrew Scheps. This plug-in captures the unmistakable warmth, smoothness of harmonic saturation and musicality of EQ of the original module.

A full, musical sound full of character

The combination of shelving and bell bands, combined with the unique behavior of Marinair transformers, gives the sound a natural harmonic coloration. The plug-in also includes the very rare 10 kHz mid band, inspired by the pattern of the 1078 model, never before seen in a virtual 1073.
