The Wolff Audio PROPATCH 128R is a next-generation analog patchbay designed for recording, mixing and mastering studios that require maximum flexibility and signal quality. In a compact 1U rack unit, it offers 64 inputs and 64 outputs with fully software-configurable routing.

Thanks to digital control, complex configurations can be instantly created, saved and recalled, completely eliminating the downtime typical of traditional patchbays and keeping the workflow fluid and creative at all times.

Relay architecture: pure signal without compromise

At the heart of the PROPATCH 128R is Wolff Audio's proprietary relay architecture, which ensures a completely passive signal path. There are no buffers, amplifiers or active circuits: the signal simply passes through direct balanced connections, without any coloration.

Absolute audio performance

This technology completely eliminates noise, distortion and interference, preserving the integrity of the original signal. Frequency response is extended from DC to the limits of measurement instruments, making the PROPATCH ideal even for critical applications and high-end professional environments.

Software control and intelligent routing management

Routing management is via dedicated application compatible with macOS, Windows and iPadOS. The interface allows easy creation of complex signal chains, including insert, mult, mono-stereo conversions, A/B groups and more.

All configurations can be saved and associated with sessions, with instant recall. The last configuration used is automatically loaded at power-up, ensuring operational continuity.

Reliability and operational flexibility

The relays used are designed for millions of cycles, ensuring reliability over time. In addition, since they are latching type, they maintain the state even in case of power loss. The system generates no heat and requires no fans, ensuring absolute silence.

Professional connectivity and expandability

The PROPATCH 128R offers full connectivity: rear panel with DB25 connections and front panel with TT, XLR/TRS combo and TRS ports. This configuration allows seamless integration with existing systems and quick connection of external outboards.

Multiple units can also be connected to create larger routing systems while maintaining centralized and highly efficient control.
