• Fully manual controls, without Total Recall

The Adamsynths Mixbooth is the Warthog system’s stereo mixer: a fully analog two-channel module, tightly integrated into the system and mounted directly inside the Warthog chassis. With two AUX sends, two stereo returns, a stereo mix output, and a headphone output, it plays a central role in managing internal levels, routing signals to effects, and monitoring—allowing you to take your modular setup from patch to finished sound without needing an external mixer.

Mono Channels with Cue, Mute, Pan, and AUX Sends

The two mono channel inputs are located on the module’s front panel, within easy reach of the VCA and filter outputs. Each channel provides all the controls you need to work quickly and musically:

• Cue function for monitoring a single channel through headphones
• Mute switch
• Volume control
• Pan control to position the signal within the stereo image
• AUX Send 1 and AUX Send 2 controls

Cue and Mute for live control

With Cue, you can listen to a channel through headphones before feeding it into the mix, while Mute lets you add or remove a track at just the right moment: two essential functions when playing live or building a layered patch.

Master section with AUX sends and stereo returns for effects

The master section includes two master controls for the AUX sends and two level controls for the stereo returns. This allows you to send channels to reverbs, delays, or other processors—whether external or within the modular system—and bring the signal back into the stereo mix while adjusting its level.

AUX returns can be used as stereo channels

AUX returns can also function as additional stereo channels: a practical way to integrate a drum machine, another synth, or a module with a stereo output into the mix, expanding the mixer’s capacity beyond two mono channels.

Rear Connections and Neat Patching in the Warthog Chassis

The Phones, Mix Out L/R, AUX Send 1 and 2, and Stereo AUX Return connectors are located on the rear panel of the Warthog case. The front panel remains clear for patch cables, while connections to monitors, audio interfaces, headphones, and effects stay organized and always in place, ensuring clean and ergonomic patching.

Analog mixer with manual controls

The Mixbooth does not feature Total Recall: all settings are adjusted manually, in line with its role within the system. Volumes, pan, and sends remain under your direct control, just like on a traditional analog mixer.
