The DPA 4018A is an ultra-high-precision supercardioid condenser microphone designed for situations where it is critical to isolate the sound source from noisy or reflective environments. Ideal for broadcast, ENG, film, dialogue, interview and miking spot productions on podiums or tables.

The 4018A's supercardioid pattern is frequency-independent and ensures even sound from all directions. The rear lobe is minimized, reducing ambient interference without sudden peaks or dips. Also great for instruments in reverberant environments.

Like all DPA pencil microphones, the 4018A is compatible with a variety of preamplifiers: from the transparent MMP-A to the compact MMP-C to the active MMP-E and MMP-G modules, which are also perfect for wireless or boom (gooseneck) configurations for mobile or studio use.
