The Universal Audio UA Bock 167 gives voices and instruments the smooth, rich tone of the celebrated U67, enhanced by contemporary sound modeling features. Each unit is hand-built in Santa Cruz, California, to the specifications of renowned designer David Bock.
The product of more than two decades of experience in servicing and optimizing the world's most prestigious microphones, the UA Bock 167 is ideal for singers, acoustic instruments, drums and voiceovers. Its handcrafted construction and choice of quality components make it an investment destined to last.
With three EQ filtering options, a "Fat" switch that boosts low frequencies between 10 Hz and 400 Hz, and a continuously variable polar pattern, the UA Bock 167 enables more dynamic, extended and versatile recordings than classic vintage microphones.
Assembled with dual-symmetrical K67 capsules, Lundahl transformer and NOS EF732 tube, each UA Bock 167 is tested to David Bock's rigorous standards. Supplied with dedicated linear power supply, professional suspension and fine case.
