Herbs and Stones Gentle Wham is a six-voice analog drum synth designed for integration into modular setups and CV/Gate systems. Extremely versatile, it can be used both as a percussive rhythm generator and as a drone synthesizer, offering a creative and performative approach to analog synthesis.

Analog synthesis for modular drum machines

Gentle Wham can generate a wide range of percussive sounds, from powerful kick drums capable of shaking up the mix to aggressive metallic percussion. It also includes a more classic palette of hi-hats, snares, rimshots and toms, making it suitable for a variety of musical genres and production contexts.

CV/Gate control and manual performance

The module can be sequenced via any CV/Gate source, but it also offers an immediate interface thanks to dedicated finger drumming buttons. By holding down the buttons, each voice can be transformed into a continuous source, allowing it to be used as a six-voice drone synthesizer.

Voice section and flexible routing

Each channel has a mute control and an individual output. By plugging a cable into the dedicated output, the voice is automatically excluded from the master mix, allowing advanced routing to external mixers or processors.

Master resonant filter for sound shaping.

The six voices feed into a 2-pole master filter with selectable response between low pass and high pass via blend control. This allows the overall sound to be precisely sculpted, emphasizing low frequencies or creating subtler, sharper textures.
