The DPA 4099 CORE+ is a miniaturized condenser microphone designed for professional recording of musical instruments. With its supercardioid polar pattern and CORE+ technology, this microphone ensures extremely natural reproduction with very low distortion and high dynamics.

The result is crystal-clear and defined sound, capable of maintaining the character of the instrument even in complex live settings or high-quality studio recordings.

Precise pickup and superior isolation on stage

The supercardioid pattern allows the DPA 4099 to effectively isolate the instrument from other sound sources on stage. This allows for greater control in the mix and optimal separation even in very crowded stage situations.

The pre-polarized condenser capsule offers a wide and detailed frequency response, with a slight emphasis on high frequencies to enhance the presence and definition of the instrument.

Woodwind clip and flexible positioning

This version of the microphone features a dedicated clip for wind instruments, ideal for sax and trumpet. The mounting system allows the microphone to be stably attached without compromising the natural vibration of the instrument.

The flexible 140mm swan neck allows easy adjustment of the capsule position to always get the ideal pick-up point.

CORE+ Technology and MicroLock Connector

The CORE+ technology developed by DPA significantly reduces distortion over the entire dynamic range of the microphone, improving transparency and precision of pickup even at very high sound pressure levels.
