Unlike traditional reverbs, Temperance Pro works as a collection of thousands of independent resonators, each controllable in real time. This approach allows specific musical notes within the reverb tail to be emphasized or attenuated, turning ambience into a creative and compositional tool.

Temper and Range controls allow you to define the tonal behavior of the reverb, while parameters such as Target and Note Width allow you to determine when and how much the notes affect the spatial response. • Density: controls the number of active modes for denser or lo-fi textures
• Offset: shifts the entire modal response up to ±500Hz
• Size and Decay: adjust the size and duration of the sound space

Eventide Temperance Pro includes 29 carefully designed environments, including intimate rooms, cinematic lobbies, mechanical reverbs, and experimental synthetic spaces. Some presets recreate legendary environments designed by acoustics expert Ralph Kesseler, while others were developed specifically to enhance Eventide's new modal reverb technology.

The conversion to the modal domain of algorithmic reverbs and convolution was achieved through proprietary machine learning-based technology, ensuring an extremely realistic and musical result.
