OXI Instruments E16 is a compact and professional rotary MIDI controller designed to offer total control over hardware synthesizers, virtual instruments and hybrid studio/live setups. Featuring LED rings around the encoders, OLED display and unibody aluminum construction, E16 combines advanced visual feedback and instant tactile control.

Advanced MIDI control for studio and performance

E16 allows deep parameter mapping thanks to 12 customizable pages with 16 controls per page. Each encoder can be assigned to different instruments, effects, or performance modes, offering maximum flexibility in DAW environments, hardware synths, and modular setups.

Snapshot and Morph for dynamic transitions

The Snapshot function allows you to save scenes complete with parameters and fluidly morph between them, creating expressive and complex transitions. Multiple devices can be controlled simultaneously with a single gesture, ideal for live electronic sets and evolutionary sound design.

Knob Recording and Group Control

With the Knob Recording function, you can record and play back encoder movements, adding dynamics and naturalness to the sound. Group & Command mode allows you to assign one encoder to control several at once, perfect for complex sweeps and articulated modulations.

Full connectivity and total integration

E16 offers dual MIDI output, MIDI input, Bluetooth MIDI and two virtual USB ports, allowing you to control an entire setup from one compact interface. Supports CC, NRPN, 14-bit control and relative/absolute modes for advanced compatibility with modern instruments.

OXI App for configuration and backup

The dedicated OXI app allows you to create, organize and save scenes and layouts, dramatically reducing setup time. You can save, restore and share presets, making E16 an evolutionary studio- and stage-ready instrument.

Made with an aluminum unibody chassis, E16 is lightweight, rugged and ready for transport. The Standard (Non Detented) version offers smooth encoders without jerks, ensuring smooth and quiet rotation.
