SSL 12, a new audio interface by Solid State Logic

Solid State Logic had recently started to release audio interfaces for the home and project studios. After having released in 2020 the audio interfaces SSL 2 and SSL 2+ it is now the turn of the new USB SSL 12 (available for demos and checks at the Roma Modulare 2022 event).

SSL 12 is designed for engineers and producers looking for no compromise features and versatility from a desktop device.

SSL 12 can either be the centerpiece in a studio or a portable production hub for location recording or mixing on-the-go.

Four mic preamps deliver state of the art performance with high gain and low noise.

Legacy 4K buttons to add the color of the legendary 4000 series consoles.

Top notch dynamic range thanks to the installed superior quality converters, complete monitoring section, ADAT expandability, talkback mic, flexible headphones outputs and an intuitive software mixer console style.

SSL 12 wants to establish a new reference level for USB interfaces.

SSL 12 has a number of professional functions usually available on high level rack mount devices.

For tracking it has ADAT connectivity, integrated talkback mic and an incredibly powerful cue mixer (capable to create up to 4 independent mixes at near zero latency) being then able to support the most demanding sessions.

For the mix the front panel functions and the possibility to switch between two monitor systems make all what is needed readily available.

For the production the Loopback on USB, the MIDI I/O and the DC coupled outputs capable of controlling either synth’s CV or FX sends make you ready to be concentrated on creativity.
