The DPA 2011A is a cardioid condenser microphone with a twin-diaphragm capsule designed to deliver balanced and detailed sound. By combining two miniature capsules mounted in opposition, it manages to combine the speed and precision of small capsules with the low noise typical of wider diaphragms.
